About Us

Empat Speech is a Telehealth service provider that combines experienced Speech Language Pathologists with technology to grow access to Speech Therapy in K-12 schools. Our platform is designed to grow therapist impact and engage children during group and 1:1 online therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based practices.

Role Description

We are seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist and Bilingual (Spanish) Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team for the following states: New Mexico, Missouri, Texas, California. The Speech-Language Pathologist will be responsible for providing speech therapy services to K-12 students, including assessments, individual and group therapy sessions, and progress monitoring. They will collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to develop and implement individualized therapy plans and goals. The Speech-Language Pathologist will also provide consultation and support to parents and teachers to promote speech and language development.

Qualifications

  • Proficient in speech, language, stuttering, pragmatics, and social communication
  • Experience in working with children in a school setting and IEPs
  • Strong assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning skills
  • Knowledge of evidence-based practices and interventions for speech and language disorders
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and remotely
  • Experience in telepractice or remote therapy
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology; CCC- SLP preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50.00 - $55.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
