About the Role

LOOP is looking for a Director of Agency Partnerships for our soon-to-launch independent agent distribution channel. To be considered for this role, candidates must reside in the state of Texas.

The Director of Agency Partnerships is responsible for profitable growth, specifically maximizing sales production and strengthening relationships with new and existing agencies. This critical role will collaborate with team members to execute onboarding support and account penetration, enabling rapid adoption of LOOP’s product, increasing sales productivity, and maintaining account retention. You can expect to work closely with our VP of Insurance Operations, insurance operations functions, product, and other stakeholders to create and continuously develop and improve strategies and processes to maximize efficiency and increase production.

What you’ll do:

  • Qualify potential Partner Agents through a series of interviews for production and culture fit.
  • Engage with Partner Agents to drive profitable growth.
  • Create, implement, and measure strategies and goals to
  • Lead departmental onboarding and orientation, as well as developing and executing training materials based on QA findings and cross-functional needs and initiatives.
  • Leverage data analytics to understand the distribution channel and facilitate optimal performance.


  • Active Property and Casualty or Personal Lines insurance license in Texas required (multiple states a plus)
  • 6+ years Property and Casualty insurance experience
  • 4+ years of high-performance account management experience
  • Thorough understanding of private-passenger auto insurance coverages, offered by LOOP
  • Experience in a carrier setting, and eagerness to help partner agencies grow
  • Experience analyzing metrics to identify trends and growth opportunities
  • Experience developing insurance and sales specific training materials
  • Demonstrated commitment to high quality customer service
  • Knowledge of state insurance regulations and laws
  • Ability to adapt to new technology as we build our processes and workflows
  • Bilingual a plus


  • This position is for full time, remote work, with the option to work out of our HQ in Austin, TX
  • Salary Range: $125k - $140k. Salary ranges are used in good faith, depend on experience, and are subject to change
  • Time Allocation: 40% managing relationships with partner agencies, 20% training development and execution, 20% metric analysis and reporting, 10% process development and refinement, 10% working on ad-hoc projects
