At Sierra, we’re building a platform to enable every company in the world to build their own autonomous AI agents for everything from customer service to commerce. We are primarily an in-person company based in San Francisco.

Our co-founders are Bret Taylor and Clay Bavor. Bret was most recently co-CEO of Salesforce, which had previously acquired the company he founded, Quip. Before founding Quip, Bret was the CTO of Facebook. Bret was one of Google's earliest product managers and one of the co-creators of Google Maps. Bret currently serves as Board Chair of OpenAI. Before founding Sierra, Clay spent 18 years at Google, where he most recently led Google Labs. Earlier, he started and led Google’s AR/VR effort, Project Starline, and Google Lens. Before that, Clay led the product and design teams for Google Workspace.
What you'll do
Account Based Marketing and Top Customer Programs. Develop a laser-focused ABM strategy for Sierra’s top accounts that spans content, advertising, events, campaigns, and more. Own the strategy/planning, execution, and reporting.
Innovate with Sales: Identify and develop new types of content that we will need to engage accounts and define the anatomy of a successful deal, from our approach to prospecting, executive alignment, ROI analysis, and more.
Scale to International Accounts: In FY26, scale ABM and marketing programs into new regions and markets, helping win lighthouse accounts and drive in-region momentum. Determine how and when to engage top accounts with technology and SI partners, alongside our partnerships team.
Partner with GTM Operations: Partner with GTM ops to build and execute an effective targeting, tracking and reporting strategy for each account.
Shape our Campaigns. Help apply lessons from ABM to different account tiers with our campaigns team.
Marketing Generalist and X-Functional Leader. We are a small team with big goals. At this early stage, we will each flex and contribute across a variety of channels and activations - from digital advertising and keynote development to customer stories.
What you'll bring
7+ years of B2B marketing experience.
Expertise in developing company and product positioning and messaging from scratch, including translating positioning and messaging into marketing artifacts and sales assets. Ideal candidates will also have experience translating key messages for various industries.
Passion for understanding enterprise customers, their needs, and the context in which they work.
Experience partnering with Campaigns and Demand Generation teams on marketing strategies that move leads down the funnel.
Passion for helping Sales succeed by creating beautiful and differentiated assets for them, while also creating and delivering the enablement programs to help them leverage those assets.
A solid understanding of the enterprise B2B event landscape, including third party, owned, and field events.
Exceptional program management skills with the ability to work independently against timelines within a fast-paced, changing environment while keeping a sharp eye on detail and accuracy.
A curiosity for data and an understanding of basic analytical and statistical techniques.
The ability to work across functional teams and with multiple collaborators, engaging with the broader team of marketers.
Strong communication and presentation skills, with an excellent ability to connect through writing, presentations, and storytelling.
Deep experience working with external vendors and marketing agencies.
Sample projects
Own a direct mail program, end-to-end, for top prospects in FY26.
Partner with our Campaigns team on a multi-channel digital advertising campaign for top accounts. This could include: strategic OOH placements, paid social, email outreach, landing pages, etc.
Tailor our first call deck for the introductory meeting with each top 20+ prospect.
Partner with our Events and Campaigns team to execute field marketing events that target top accounts.
Partner with our Events team to pilot our first-ever Sierra-owned product launch event.
Collaborate with our Content team on customer storytelling and thought leadership.
Work across the Marketing team in ensuring our channels are ready for a possible international expansion.
