About the role

You are ready to take your experience working at a hyper-growth SaaS company to a new team and Series C company. You understand the growth trajectory needed and how events and experiential marketing contribute to it. You’ve managed events from large customer conferences, industry-trade shows, field to virtual. You are equal parts strategic and hands-on with the ability to see the big picture and craft result driving activities. You think in terms of pipeline, specifically how events can source and influence it. You love working cross-functionally with sales and marketing to create amazing event experiences that delight buyers and customers. You’re an innovator and an optimizer, never afraid to try something new and always looking for ways to up your game.

Above all, you’re a team player who brings positivity and passion to your work every single day. The Event and Experiential Marketing Manager role reports into the Senior Director, Integrated Marketing. *This role must be located in Seattle, SF, or NY*
Why this job is exciting
  • Strategy: this role will gain a deep understanding of the product and its importance in the market. That knowledge will enable you to evaluate events and experiential marketing opportunities, which will contribute to the larger event strategy to deliver pipeline directly from our ICP at the highest rates of conversion.
  • Driving Alignment: this role will work in lock step with other marketing stakeholders including product marketing, design, content, enablement and sales to ensure our events are aligned with our campaigns and overall pipeline plan to maximize engagement across all channels.
  • Produce Pipeline: you dream of crushing pipeline goals. You understand the sales cycle and know what data points you need to craft opportunities that not only deliver the right leads at the right time but also convert at the highest levels. You know that KPIs, goal setting, measurable results, and timely follow up are the key to successful pipeline planning. If an activity does not produce the way you anticipated you flag, inform, reevaluate, and pivot when needed to meet those pipeline goals. Marketing and sales opps are your key allies and you work closely with SDRs to ensure they have the resources they need to follow up on leads and drive conversion.
  • Craft Experiential Events: you are never ok with average or the way everyone else does it. You always think about ways to up our game and craft memorable experiences that immerse the attendee in our brand and differentiate us in the market.
  • Manage Events End to End: customer experience, multi-touch engagement plan, location/venue/vendor sourcing, contract neg., budget planning and management, production, AV, gifting, speaker procurement, graphics, brand consistency, agenda building, lead management, internal enablement, logistics, and accounting - you are a pro and you don’t outsource your responsibilities.
  • Regional Expansion: you’ve planned events around the globe and have been a major contributor to successfully driving engagement for new regions. As a result, you know that events must be a primary channel to produce marketable contacts and early pipeline in a land and expand model. You will be a key teammate to the in-region field marketer, helping to run large-scale industry events in-region, and sharing best practices to ensure the organization meets its goals.
About you
  • 3-6+ years of relevant events and/or experiential marketing experience, preferably with half the time in B2B SaaS.
