Overview
We're hiring Pump / Motor Mechanics for our precision scientific equipment shop in Oak Ridge, TN.
Customers ship us advanced scientific equipment like vacuum pumps, blowers, motors, and cryocooler units, and and you tear it down, rebuild it, and restore it to tight tolerances. You'll also quote repairs, order parts, and repair equipment at customer facilities.
It's varied mechanical work: shop equipment like air compressors, CNC mills, and lathes needs maintaining, and our small fleet of forklifts and box trucks needs servicing — diesel or engine mechanic experience pays off here.
