About This Role:
As Director of Marketing - Lifestyle & Apparel, you will lead the development and execution of high-impact marketing campaigns and activations on behalf of Overtime’s Lifestyle & Apparel vertical with the goals of driving brand awareness, audience engagement and revenue. You will oversee end-to-end campaign execution, from brief to launch, ensuring consistency across all touchpoints.
Core Responsibilities:
- Develop and lead the execution of brand campaigns across multiple channels, including digital, retail, media, events, and more.
- Responsible for driving the calendar strategy for full funnel brand activity with a 2-year planning horizon, acting as critical cross-functional partner in building a calendar rooted in business priorities, consumer mindset, and KPIs.
- Collaborate on annual and seasonal marketing narrative to drive an aligned product and marketing messaging across the marketplace
- Develop customer acquisition and retention strategies across key demographics
- Leverage customer data and market insights to inform marketing strategies and campaign targeting
- Drive engagement across digital platforms including social media, email/SMS marketing, and e-commerce
- Identify opportunities to create meaningful connections with audiences through innovative experiences and activations.
- Assist in identifying and executing strategic brand partnerships and collaborations that elevate the Overtime profile
- Effectively manage stakeholders and drive leadership across key cross-functional teams to guide strategic vision and remove roadblocks for the team.
- Guide the team to deliver strong briefs that inspire creative teams and drive impact, including insight development, competitor and market trends, category opportunities, establishing campaign objective + KPIs, target audience, and messaging hierarchy.
- Drive brand differentiation in the competitive sportswear and lifestyle apparel landscape through innovative positioning and messaging
- Lead marketing analysis and results sharing across the cross-functional teams and using results to inform and adjust strategy.
- Responsible for managing the annual operating budget for campaign portfolio and accountable to budget allocation and day to day management.
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience developing and driving digital and offline marketing campaigns/initiatives from inception to execution for leading brands.
- Bachelor's degree in business or marketing and 10+ years of experience in marketing, preferably at an organization within the Retail, Apparel, Sport, or product marketing sectors.
- Strong leadership abilities with experience leading teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Deep understanding and expertise in managing omnichannel campaigns, leveraging product insights to drive initiatives from inception to execution.
- Energetic, creative thinker with a strong grasp of future marketing trends, culture, and competitive dynamics.
- Extensive experience in creative brief development and collaboration with creative teams/agencies, including on-set work.
- Adaptable and positive in managing changing priorities and changing deliverables or business needs.
- Strong strategic thinking skills and comfort with ambiguity, along with experience preparing materials for executive audiences.
Overtime expects the compensation for this role to be $140-150K USD annually in addition to stock options, paid time off, and medical benefits.
