Overtime is seeking a Media Asset Manager to support the daily operations of our fast-paced production environment. This role is responsible for ensuring that producers, editors, and other content teams can quickly and reliably access the media they need while maintaining an organized, secure, and scalable media ecosystem.

The Media Asset Manager will oversee the lifecycle of Overtime's media—from ingest and organization through distribution, archival, and retention. This person will administer our Iconik media asset management platform, manage shared storage and archive workflows, establish consistent metadata and naming standards, and help improve the systems and processes that power content production across Overtime.

The ideal candidate combines strong technical knowledge of media systems with a practical understanding of production and post-production workflows. They are highly organized, service-oriented, and comfortable supporting multiple teams in a high-volume sports and entertainment environment.

Key Responsibilities

Media Asset Management and Archiving
  • Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of media assets, including ingest, metadata application, quality control, storage, retrieval, distribution, archiving, retention, and retirement.
  • Administer, maintain, and optimize media asset management, digital asset management, storage, and archive platforms.
  • Manage camera media and production assets, including offloading, verification, backup, organization, and delivery to post-production teams.
  • Establish and maintain consistent metadata, taxonomy, file-naming, and folder-organization standards that make content accurate, searchable, and easy to retrieve.
  • Maintain the integrity, accessibility, security, and discoverability of Overtime's media library.
  • Monitor storage capacity, system activity, and workflow performance; identify risks or bottlenecks and recommend solutions.
  • Support archive, retention, and recovery practices that protect Overtime's content and intellectual property.

Production Systems and Workflow Support
  • Serve as a primary resource for producers, editors, and content teams using Overtime's shared media systems and workflows.
  • Support the routing and delivery of game footage, original programming, social content, marketing materials, and partner assets.
  • Troubleshoot media-access, workflow, permissions, and asset-delivery issues, coordinating with internal technology teams and external vendors when needed.
  • Manage user access and permissions across relevant media platforms while helping maintain system security and data integrity.
  • Partner with production leadership to evaluate evolving storage, infrastructure, and workflow needs.
  • Participate in the evaluation, testing, implementation, and adoption of new platform features, integrations, and production tools.

Process, Governance, and Collaboration
  • Create and maintain standard operating procedures, technical documentation, and training materials for media-management workflows.
  • Promote consistent adoption of metadata standards, naming conventions, archive practices, and content-governance policies across teams.
  • Train and support users on systems, tools, and workflow best practices.
  • Partner with Production, Post-Production, Content, Social, Marketing, Partnerships, Legal, and Technology teams to support internal and external asset needs.
  • Help ensure assets are delivered accurately and on time and that usage, rights, and distribution requirements are followed when applicable.
  • Explore automation and AI-assisted tools that can improve tagging, search, organization, and workflow efficiency while maintaining appropriate quality control.
  • Provide input on storage capacity, system costs, vendor needs, and future media-infrastructure planning.

Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in media asset management, digital asset management, media operations, post-production operations, content operations, or a related field.
  • Hands-on experience administering a cloud based MAM or DAM platform; experience with Iconik or a comparable cloud-based platform is strongly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of media ingest, backup, storage, archive, retrieval, and delivery workflows.
  • Experience managing data within AWS S3; deep understanding of storage tiers is strongly preferred.
  • Working knowledge of metadata standards, taxonomy, naming conventions, file organization, and content-governance practices.
  • Familiarity with professional video formats, codecs, file types, and post-production workflows.
  • Experience supporting shared storage, cloud-based media workflows, and high-volume video environments.
  • Strong troubleshooting, organizational, documentation, and project-management skills.
  • Ability to communicate technical information clearly to creative and nontechnical partners.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and respond calmly to time-sensitive production needs.
  • Bachelor's degree in Film, Communications, Broadcasting, Library or Information Science, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field—or equivalent professional experience.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting live sports production, studio production, or another high-volume media organization.
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud and its integrations with media-management or shared-storage platforms.
  • Experience developing SOPs, training users, and implementing new systems or workflow changes across multiple teams.
  • Familiarity with automation or AI-assisted metadata, transcription, tagging, or search tools.
